The Album launch was lovely and lots of dear frinds turned up and helped drink the wine I bought. The performance was good and the multitrack machines added huge amount of layering to the sound. Me hearts machines. [link]

For the german art and achitecture esp Bauhaus, burlesque and caberet and these influences on music from Bowie, Lou Reed, Eno, Kraftwerk to the Dandy Warhols. Also for photography by artists such as Helmut Newton, Jürgen Vollmer (Beatles in Hamburg) and Manfred W. Jürgens.

I work in a big museum in Sydney Australia and do research and exhibtions on art and culture and this includes german communities in Australia. Australia has a large german community dating from the 1850s.
